Cortona is turning greener everyday, with more and more blossoms and flowers appearing...
“All the flowers of all the tomorrows are in the seeds of today.” A great quote, by an unknown author said to
be inspired by spring (and a whole lot more, I would say!).
A Spring that even this year, after 12+ months of Covid and despite the
slow roll-out of vaccines across Europe, still manages to weave its magic. We miss our friends and clients, we miss the buzz and
activity of Cortona ‘springing’ to life after the long dark days of winter, but
the swallows have returned, as will you; albeit somewhat later than planned.
In the meantime, here are some more images of Cortona with its hillsides
turning from brown to iridescent green; with red poppies and purple irises cutting
a swathe through carpeted meadows with assorted hues of wild flowers; with olive
groves shimmering in liquid silver, sustained by weathered stone walls - a testament
to time and tradition - on backdrops of bright blue, but more often, moody
skies.
We hope you enjoy them!
